清末の小さい城砦から始まった小さな街が、日本軍に城壁を取り壊された後に内戦の難民が集住する巨大スラムと化した。この公園は、現存する衙門の建築を中心として跡地から発見された清末の遺構を保存している。衙門の中ではこの地の奇特な運命について分かりやすく展示を行っており、バラックとしての九龍城マニアも必見。
